As an intuitive eating dietitian, I help men and women who want to work on their health in a sustainable way—without strict diets or forbidden foods. Intuitive eating means learning to listen to your body’s signals so that you eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full. It’s a process of gradually letting go of old diet rules and reconnecting with your own needs and desires around food.

Nutrition plays an important role in both your physical and mental well-being, and my approach focuses on finding an eating pattern that suits you—without obsession, but with trust in your body. In online video sessions, we’ll explore your eating habits, health, and any complaints you may have. Whether you want to improve your energy levels, address digestive issues, or optimize your blood pressure, cholesterol, or blood glucose levels—as an intuitive eating dietitian, I provide evidence-based advice tailored to your lifestyle and preferences.

What does a dietitian do?

A dietitian is the expert in nutrition and health. Whether you need advice for a medical condition like diabetes or digestive issues, or struggle with your eating habits, such as emotional eating or binge eating—a dietitian can help you find a sustainable and healthy balance.

As an online dietitian, I have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, am legally recognized, and quality-registered. This means you’ll receive expert, evidence-based advice tailored to your personal situation and needs.

What makes my guidance unique?

Many dietitians still work with strict guidelines: lists of foods to avoid, weekly weigh-ins, and a focus on weight loss as the ultimate solution for a healthy life. But health is about so much more than a number on the scale. My approach is centered around behavior change and developing a positive relationship with food. No forbidden foods, no guilt after a meal—just learning to listen to what your body truly needs.

As a dietitian and the first registered intuitive eating dietitian in the Netherlands since 2019, I help people build a healthy and relaxed relationship with food. Intuitive eating is an evidence-based method that helps you rebuild trust in your body’s hunger and fullness signals, without rigid diet rules. It’s not about “just eating whatever you want,” but rather learning what truly nourishes your body and brings you joy.

My approach as an intuitive eating dietitian is personal and not “one size fits all.” Instead of a standard diet plan, we’ll go on a journey together, using the 10 principles of intuitive eating as our guide. We’ll explore the challenges you face in your daily life, what feels difficult, and how we can tackle these challenges in a realistic and sustainable way.

During our work together, you’ll learn to understand your body and its signals better, so you can respond in a way that feels good for you. We’ll work on letting go of food rules and diet culture, so you can make choices with more calm and confidence—choices that truly serve you. The goal is to eat in a way that supports both your physical and mental well-being—without guilt or stress, but with pleasure and satisfaction.

        Tijdens de 1-op-1coaching heb ik geleerd beter naar mijn lichaam te luisteren.Ik liet bijvoorbeeld zelfs een deel van het toetje bij het kerstdiner staan, omdat ik vol zat!             Toen ik in aanraking kwam met het begrip intuïtief eten dacht ik meteen dat het me verder zou helpen. En dat heeft het met zekerheid gedaan.                 De coaching heeft me geholpen bij het ombuigen van mijn altijd aanwezige negatieve gedachten betreffende eten en mezelf. Diede is zeer kundig.                   How it works

                  Discovery call

                  We begin with a free online discovery call. This call is non-binding and gives you the opportunity to ask questions and see if we are a good fit.

                  Client portal

                  When you’re ready to get started, you’ll gain access to your own client portal in Bonsai, where you’ll find some intake forms. These will give us a good understanding of how you’re currently approaching food and will form the basis for our first session. You’ll also find a summary of what we discussed after each video session, along with any worksheets and videos for additional support.

                  The program

                  The program consists of 7* online sessions in total, spread over 4-5 months. The program is divided into 3 packages: three 60-minute sessions, followed by two 60-minute sessions, and finally, two 30-minute evaluation sessions. 

                  * If, after the first 3 sessions, you feel confident to continue on your own, that’s perfectly fine. This program is flexible and adapts to your pace.

                  Start

                  In the first session, we will go over your intake forms and you’ll receive practical exercises to start working on right away. In the following sessions we dive deeper into your progress, the obstacles you encounter, and there’s room for further insight and practice. The last two sessions are shorter and give you the space to further anchor the changes you’ve made.

                  Invoice

                  After each session, you will receive a invoice that you can submit to your health insurance provider.

                  In 7 sessions to intuitive eating

                  The guidance program consists of 7 sessions, divided into 3 packages, so you can make sustainable changes in achievable steps. Behavioral change takes time, and by taking small, consistent steps, you lay the foundation for habits that truly stick.

                  I recommend spacing the first 5 sessions every two weeks, giving you enough time to integrate what you’ve learned into your daily life. At the same time, this schedule ensures that there isn’t too much time between sessions, keeping your focus intact and allowing you to make real progress. This helps you to solidify the new behavior, rather than having to start over each time.

                  If, after the first 3 sessions, you feel confident to continue on your own, that’s perfectly fine. This program is flexible and adapts to your pace.

                  With my intuitive eating guidance, I help you overcome the obstacles that make it difficult to improve your health. This includes letting go of the focus on weight and focusing on what your body truly needs.
